Return 

Do you want to return your by Solarclarity ordered products? No problem, of course you can return the products. Read the return policy below for further instructions. 

Did you receive the wrong or defect products? Please contact customer support, call us at 0031 294 745700 or send us an e-mail; support@solarclarity.nl. 

How do I return

Products from SolarClarity can be returned within 5 days of receipt of shipment in most cases. Some products have different policies or requirements associated with them.  Follow the return steps below: 

  1. Contact us within 14 days to arrange the return shipment. Please fill in the return form >
  2. You will receive a confirmation of your return from customer support. After you received the confirmation, go to step (3).
  3. Make sure you pack your return products according to the packing instructions (see below).
  4. Stick the return document, clearly visible, on the outside of your return package.
  5. Customer Support plans with you the time and date when the return shipment will be picked up.
  6. The return shipment will be picked up by our carrier at the agreed time.
  7. When your return shipment has been received in our warehouse, you will receive a credit note.
  8. When you want to return wrong ordered products we reserve the right to deduct 10% of the value of the wrong ordered product(s) for restockings costs and the transport costs for the return on the credit note.

The packing instructions

Use the original packaging, if you don’t have the original packaging anymore, then use a sturdy packaging. Make sure that the return document is clearly visible on the outside of your return package.

How do I pack an inverter? 

  1. Use the original package and tape it tightly. Don’t use too much tape and make sure there is no tape placed on the serial/article number.
  2. Stick the return document, clearly visible, on the outside of your return package.


How do I package solar panels? 

  1. Place cardboard between the pallet and the solar panels to protect the solar panel cables.
  2. Make sure the frames are stacked straight on top of each other. Place all solar panels with the glass facing upp.
  3. Cover the whole package with cardboard. Make sure that at least the top is covered.
  4. Secure the pallet with at least two straps. This prevents the panels from bouncing and sliding.
  5. Stick the return document, clearly visible, on the outside of your return package.

How do I package a pallet with solar panels and other articles.  

  1. You pack the panels just like you do with a shipment with only solar panels. Above you can read the instructions on how you can pack the solar panels.
  2. It’s is very important that you place the boxes on the ledge. DO NOT place the boxes in the middle, because of possible damage to the top panel glass.
  3. Spread the mounting materials as flat as possible over the panels due to the weight.
  4. Secure the panels, inverter boxes and fasteners with separate traps.

 

Do you not have the necessary materials to secure the solar panels and other goods to the pallet? Please contact customer support support@solarclarity.nl or 0294-745 700). We can send you a number of (free) lashing straps, which you can use to fix the panels correctly to the pallet. 

Return policy SolarClarity 

  • The buyer is obliged to directly check the order after receiving the products. Any defects or missing products must be reported to SolarClarity within 14 days of receipt by e-mail: support@solarclarity.nl.
  • The wrong ordered products must be returned in the same condition and quantity as they were received.
  • When you want to return ordered products we reserve the right to deduct 10% of the value of the ordered product(s) for restockings costs and the transport costs on the credit note.
  • Products from our solar outlet cannot be returned.
  • Follow the packing instructions carefully to make sure that you pack your return(s) correctly.
  • If during the return transport damage occurs as a result of insufficient compliance with the packing instructions, we are unfortunately forced to settle these with your credit note.
